Hannah Gassett began dancing at the age of three at a studio near her hometown of Friendswood, TX, where she learned all forms of dance. Her strong affinity for ballet led to her training at the Houston Ballet Academy. She trained across the country with Joffrey Ballet, Ballet Austin, Royal Academy of Fine Arts, and Steps on Broadway.
In high school, she was a member of the nationally acclaimed drill team, the Friendswood High School Wranglerettes. In college, she continued her dance training at Stephen F. Austin State University dancing for their Pom Squad. Mrs. Gassett was the first SFA Pom Squad member to complete four years on the team. During her four years on the Pom Squad, they won a National Championship at NDA Collegiate Nationals. Mrs. Gassett was awarded the title of Collegiate All-American and was captain her last year on the team. She received her Bachelor of Science in both Dance and English from SFA.
She has choreographed numerous award winning dances and has worked with several drill/dance teams and studios in the Dallas and Houston area. Dance has always been a major part of Mrs. Gassett’s life, but none of it would have been possible without the love, encouragement, and support of family, friends, her incredible husband Daniel, and their two children, Charlotte and Jackson.
Mrs. Gassett is thrilled to continue her lifelong passion by sharing her love for dance and drill team with her students. She is excited to be an integral part of the dance training at The Woodlands Dance Force and can’t wait to watch her students flourish.
