Established in 2003 as a competitive dance studio, The Woodlands Dance Center has evolved into a premier dance destination in The Woodlands, offering programs for both recreational and competitive dancers.

Our recreational division provides high-quality training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Creative Movement, and Acrobatics. With two performance opportunities annually, these classes foster technical growth, artistic expression, and personal confidence in a supportive, non-competitive environment.

For dancers seeking a competitive experience, The Woodlands Dance Center is home to the nationally award-winning The Woodlands Dance Force competition team. Auditions are held each spring, with the team competing at up to five regional and national events per season. TWDF dancers have earned acceptance into prestigious college dance programs, including LSU, Cal State Fullerton, Princeton University, TCU, University of Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, University of Oklahoma, University of North Texas, Kilgore College, Texas State, and Sam Houston State.
